She was the project lead for the Tufts Dining team to shift, adapt and meet customers’ needs of the mobile ordering app in 31-days, which continues to be vital to higher education food service operators. She continues to keep pace of transformative technologies in aiding the shift in how students dine, while increasing speed and value to all users on Tufts campuses.

Tamra DeSanti is the Campus Technology Operations Manager at Grand Canyon University with 4 years of experience. Tamra is responsible for Point-of-Sale equipment deployment and set up as well as overseeing all of the components that go into it. On top of overseeing Point of Sale at GCU, she is also responsible for badge access and the Esports Club. She has worked hand in hand with Transact to introduce Mobile Ordering onto the Grand Canyon University Campus. In her down time, Tamra spends time with her husband and two-year-old son.

Karla Gibson is the Senior Manager, IT Service Delivery at Georgia Institute of Technology. Karla is responsible for card office operations and oversees all campus technology that engages with the BuzzCard. She also has responsibility for Auxiliary Services technology including Bookstore, vending, dining, and retail. Karla has been at the Institute since 2012.

Matthew Drummond is a Senior Solutions Engineer with Transact. Prior to his tenure at Transact, he was the Product Manager for Ecommerce and Mobile Solutions at Sequoia Retail Systems. Matthew has extensive experience with higher education as he was previously the Director of the DukeCard Office at Duke University and the Program Administrator for the Tiger 1 Card Office at Clemson University. Matthew has served on the Board of Directors for NACCU and the Board of Executives for the National Association for Collegiate Concessionaires. He has been heavily involved presenting at many international, national, and regional conferences over his 20+ years in the industry including NACAS C3X and NACAS regional events.
